With the wish of creating cultural harmony and understanding, Her Holiness Shinso Ito, Head Priest of Shinnyo-en, officiates the annual Lantern Floating Hawaii ceremony on Memorial Day to remember and honor loved ones who have passed. Please join us at the University of Washington, Seattle campus for a film viewing and informative discussion about the Lantern Floating. Refreshments will be served along with the chance to write your own words of remembrance or prayers which will float with thousands of others on the warm waters of Hawaii this coming Memorial Day. Sponsored by the Shinnyo-en Buddhist Student Association at UW, Shinnyo-en Seattle Temple and the Foundation.
